Artists during World War II often used color to convey the chaos they were seeing.  We can try to create our own version of a city during war time.

Use the black craft paper in the art closet, have the kids use a pencil to draw an outline of a city or a building.  Have the kids use the chalk from the art closet to create the vivid background.  Many artists used red and orange but some used blue and white to show the dust and rubble that came after the bombing.
